Lessons of life: A GIRL WITH TWO APPLES

While shopping with her mum at the grocery store, a little girl ran ahead of the mum to the apple racks to pick apples. By the time the mum got to her, she was holding two apples in her both hands; a green and a
red. Her mum now bent down towards her and softly asked the little girl with a smile: “Sweetie, could you give your mum one of your two apples?”

The girl looked up at her mum for some seconds, then she suddenly took a quick bite on one apple, and then quickly on the other. The mum felt disappointed and the smile on her face suddenly freezes. She was shocked and tried hard not to reveal her disappointment.

Almost immediately, the little girl handed one of the bitten apples to her mum, and said with her tiny voice “Mom, here you are; this is the sweeter one.” The mum immediately carried her and kissed her. She felt bad for she misjudged the little girl’s intention.

Moral:
No matter who you are, how experienced you are, and how knowledgeable you think you are, always delay judgment. Give others the privilege to explain themselves. What you see may not be the reality. Never conclude for others. Never only focus on the surface and judge others without understanding them first. Life is beautiful.
